A big day in the life of Laurin Neuhaus. The 16-year-old signed his apprenticeship contract as a hearing aid acoustician at the hearing aid center in Reinach BL on 25.03.21. "It's not long since it's been possible to learn the profession of hearing aid acoustician in Switzerland in an initial training program," mentions his future master teacher, Markus Topp. "It is a good development in the Swiss education system to offer this possibility recently."
"In our business, we also have to deal with long-term questions about the future" - this is the attitude of HZ Managing Director Bernhard Hanisch. "We are very happy to be able to offer a first-class apprenticeship to a young person in order to be able to develop HZ together with him in a few years' time".
When Laurin Neuhaus himself takes over the duties of a hearing system acoustician in a few years, this will settle one of HZ's personnel issues. Like everywhere else in the healthcare market, good personnel are currently being sought. In any case, the HZ Reinach branch is already looking forward to the start of his career in August 2021. For the time being, he won't be around much. For the time being, he'll be at the vocational school in Olten. Hopefully, classroom instruction will be possible again by then.
